Another creative uncovering the complexity of life through music is the man who stands at 6”1 - Leo Bhanji.
The London-based singer/songwriter has seen success this year, landing with appearances on national radio stations, releasing his debut EP as well as follow up single ‘Heathers.’
Relaxed vocals mixed with that unique DIY sound provides listeners with what feels like a controlled journey through each song (this is Leo’s world after all.)
In an interview with Rani Boyer for Pigeon and Planes, Bhanji noted Future, Lou Reed “and obviously Frank Ocean” as inspirations because of their “mentality of craft first and efficiency.”
Despite the pandemic, he landed a BBC Introducing Track of the Week accolade with Blade of Hope...
Bhanji began music production at age 12 and has since developed his skills with other emerging artists such as ‘Kish!’ and the 237 Collective.
Now with support from Dirty Hit (Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Wolf Alice, The 1975) sky's the limit and, with the expected rejuvenation of live shows in 2021, it’s an exciting time for Bhanji.
